SOUTH AFRICAN LOAN
NEW ISSUE IN LONDON. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, May 23. The underwriting has been completed of a new South African £5,000,000 loan, at 31 per cent, at 961, redeemable in 1954-9. The loan represents an entirely new issue, as South Africa has no early maturities. The market believes it will be a success.
