BOWLING
PARK CLUB. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. At the first meeting of the newly elected committee of the Park Bowling Club the following officials were appointed:— Delegates ■ to Wairarapa Centre: Messrs G. Dagg, H. W. Thompson and E. J. Burke; match committee, Messrs H. W. Thompson and F. Dixon: ground committee, Messrs R. Wallace. W. J. Gibson and A. E. Kilgour; bowl examiner, Mr E. J. Burke; publicity. Mr E. J. Burke. Matters arising from the annual general meeting were dealt with and other business transacted. The enthusiasm displayed by the committee augurs well for the club which is now in a very sound position. The special treatment given to the green at the close of last season has proved very successful and members can look forward with confidence to first-class playing conditions next season.
