MAURICEVILLE

PERSONAL ITEMS. ("Times-Age” Special.) Mr and Mrs H. Freeman are spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs R. J. Clarke is on a holiday visit to Hawke’s Bay. Mr and Mrs H. Myers returned this week from a holiday trip to Australia. Miss Clare Childs, of Nelson, is spending the school vacation at her home in Mauriceville. A kitchen tea party is to be tendered Miss Una Larsen by local residents in the Mauriceville West hall on Monday evening. The friends of Mr K. L. Ross will be pleased to know he is making satisfactory progress in the Masterton Hospital where he successfully underwent an operation. Messrs K. Palmer and D. J. Freeman, of the Mauriceville Dairy Co’s staff, have left for Palmerston North to further their studies at Massey College.
