ALFREDTON
RESIDENT FAREWELLED. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr A. Dawson, who has been in the employ of Messrs A. H. Herbert and Co., Alfredton, for the past 4£ years, has accepted a position in the New Zealand Military Forces. He will leave shortly to take up his new duties. Mr Dawson was entertained at a farewell party in the Alfredton Hall on Friday last. During the evening, Mr D. Smith asked Mr Dawson to accept a signet ring and wished him the best of luck. After supper had been served the singing of “Auld Lang Syne” brought a most enjoyable evening to a close.
