HOUSE OF COMMONS DEBATE ON BILL. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 11. In the House of Commons today the Military Training Bill was further considered in committee. For the second week in succession the business of the House next week will consist entirely of measures relating to defence, military or civil. DEFENCE OF CEYLON. COLOMBO, May 12.
A motion has been tabled requesting the State Council to introduce conscription immediately to enable Ceylon to defend itself in the event of war.
