KITCHEN TEA

IN HONOUR OF MISS M. FRASER. On Saturday evening Mrs E. Tregurtha, assisted by her daughter, Miss A. Tregurtha, entertained a number of guests at a kitchen tea in honour of Miss Marion Fraser, who is leaving Masterton shortly to be married. In a brief speech, Miss Tregurtha extended to the guest of honour the good wishes of those present for her 1 future happiness, and Miss Fraser, in reply, thanked her friends for the many useful presents. Later in the evening the guests were entertained at the State Theatre, after which a dainty supper was provided by the hostesses. Those present included Mrs McCormack, Misses R. Bradley, H. Bell, R. Edwards, O. Beale, L. Goodall, G. Taylor, .-P. Thomas, L. Coleman, J. Armstrong, M. Bampton, C. Parsons, Messrs McCormack and J. Thomas.
