Before bis departure for England, the Minister of Finance, Mr Nash, said he would endeavour to be back by the end of July. The Budget therefore could be expected in August. Mr Nash said that his visit to England would involve no delay in the opening of Parliament unless unforeseen circumstances arose. As far as he knew the opening would take place in the last week in June and he intended to be back as soon after that as he possibly could.
