Ottawa—Canadians spent approxi mately 8.500.000 dollars in 1937 i.n toil et preparations including perfumes, toilet waters, face creams, brilliantine. face powders, lipsticks, bath salts, compacts, manicure preparations, tooth pastes and tooth powders. Of this total, domestic production accounted for approximately 95 per cent.
