WORN STRAW HAT
HOW TO' MAKE IT' NEW. A. mixture of powdered sulphur and lemon juice scrubbed into a worn straw hat will make it look new.. After the scrubbing (using a small brush), let the mixture remain for a while, then wash in clean water and put the hat in the shade to dry. A coating ol gum arabic gives further improvement.
