INDOOR BASKETBALL
Y.M.C.A. INTER-HOUSE CONTEST. SECOND ROUND DRAW. The draw for the second round of the indoor basketball competition, to be played at the Y.M.C.A. tomorrow night, commencing at 6.30 is as follows: — - Ladies’ section: 6.30, United v. C. Smith’s; 7.20. Woolworths v. Macduffs; 8.10, Hugo and Shearers v. Rovers; 9.0, Y.M.C.A. v. W.F.C.A.; Lancers a bye. Men’s section: 6.55, Press v. Borthwick’s; 7.45, Y.M.C.A. v. Loan and Mercantile; 8.30, Old Boys v. Reliance Rebuilt A; 9.25, Reliance Rebuilt B v. Pirates. The attention of teams is drawn to a clause in the rules regarding the necessity for players being in attendance promptly at the times stated. The rule states that when a team or teams are late on the floor playing time will be taken off up to five minutes. Aftei that the team fielding the greatest number of players will win by default.
