DEATH OF MRS GAINEY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PAHIATUA,' This Day. The death occurred on Saturday of Mrs Magnetta Ruth Gainey, wife of Constable Gainey, of Pongaroa. She was admitted to hospital a week ago, suffering from concussion as the result of an accident when a car in which she and her husband were driving went over a bank. She was born in Invercargill and lived at Wanganui later. She leaves a daughter and three sons— Mrs W. Murphy, of Pongaroa, Messrs Jack Gainey, of Masterton, and Stanley and Tom Gainey, of Wellington.
