OBITUARY
MR JOHN THOMAS DAGG. The death occurred this morning of Mr John Thomas Dagg, a former wellknown resident of Upper Plain, at the age of 73 years. The late Mr Dagg was born at Upper Plain, the son of the late Mrs Robert David Dagg, an early settler of the district. He was married at Westport and farmed at Ihuraua and Featherston. He retired some years ago and had since resided with his son Mr C. W. Dagg, at Eketahuna. He was an active supporter of the Farmers’ Union and the Wairarapa P. and A. Society and of the Masterton A. and P. Association. His wife predeceased him id 1933. He is survived by his only son, Mr C. W. Dagg, and three sisters, Mesdames E. J. Rose (Upper Plain), W. Delisle (Auckland) and W. Townsend (Auckland).
■ The funeral will take place on Wednesday, leaving Knox Church at 2,30 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
