LADIES’ GOLF

HUTT TOURNAMENT. MISS S. COLLINS IN GOOD FORM. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Good form was revealed in the first and second rounds of the championship competition at the Hutt Ladies’ Golf Club’s open tournament yesterday. a The fairways had been revived by the recent rains, and the greens were in excellent order, but a blustering north-westerly wind, with a touch of coolness in its breath, made low scoring difficult. Neither player was at her best. Both took 44 for the out journey, Mrs Foreman being 1 up at the turn.
