MAURICEVILLE

SOCIAL & DANCE. (“Times-Age” Special.) A social and dance was held last Wednesday for the purpose of raising funds for the Wairarapa Health Camp Concert Party with which to carry out their good work. A fair attendance enjoyed the programme presented. The items were of a high standard. The following took part: Miss Noeline Graham (fancy dancing and recitation); Master Daniel Davey (songs and dances); Miss Yvonne Foster (song); Mr J. Blake (accordion solos) and Miss Hazel Lock (tap dances). Mrs Marshall was pianist for the dances and songs. The performers were encored again and again for their items. Dancing commenced after the social. Mr E. Morris acted as M.C., and Te Tail’s orchestra supplied dance music and Mr Milner played extras.
