CROSS-COUNTRY RUN
WAIRARAPA COLLEGE EVENT. FASTER TIMES RECORDED. The annual cross-country run of Wairarapa College pupils was held on Wednesday, 160 runners taking part. The conditions were ideal, and as a result faster times were recorded than was the case last year, when the contest was held in the spring, after the winter rains. The runners were started from the Park Oval. Results are: — Senior. —R. D. Daniell 1, J. A. Stevenson 2, P. Braggins 3. Time, 23min. Bsec.' (The time last year was 23min. 52sec.) Junior. —A. Grant 1, J. Eton 2, R. Slatter 3. Time, 18min. 54sec. (The time last year was 19min. 47sec.)
