ANZAC DAY WREATHS. (“Times-Age” Special.) In connection with the Anzac Day ceremony in Featherston wreaths were placed on the Soldiers’ Memorial by the following, the names of the makers being given in parentheses: —Haunui Croquet Club (Mrs Wakeley); War Memorial (Mrs A. Matthews); Defence Rifles (Mrs Johnson); Fire Brigade (Mrs Boston); Pihautea branch W.DF.U. (Mrs Carter); Women’s Division of Farmers’ Union (Mrs Wakely); Home and School Association and Primary and Secondary schools (Mrs Rea); Returned Soldiers (Mrs Carlyon); South African Veterans (Mrs H. The children are looking forward to their party which is to be held in the Parish Hall tomorrow from 4.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. when a happy time is promised them.
