TENNIS CLUB DANCE'. PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Kopuaranga Tennis Club held a dance on Tuesday evening. Mr C. C. Jackson (vice-president), in the absence of the president, Mr G. L. Donald, presented the following trophies won during the year:—Silver Cup, Mr Ivon Jackson's trophy to most improved player during the year: Mr Ben Fenemor. Ladies' Singles Handicap, Mr S. J. Clarke’s trophy, to Miss M. Kenny. Men's Singles Handicap. Mr S. J. Clarke’s trophy to Mr G. L. Donald. Combined Doubles Handicap, Mr C. C. Jackson’s trophies. Miss M. Wright and Owen Jarrett. Combined Double’s Handicap, runners-up, Mrs Jarrett's trophies, Mjss Dulcie Kenny and Basil Southey. Ladies’ Single’s Handicap, runner up, Mr C. Jarrett’s trophy, Miss M. Wright. Men's Single’s Handicap, runner-up, Mr G. L. Donald’s trophy, Mr G. Bell. A dainty home-made supper was served and the duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr C. P. Jarrett. Table Tennis. The Kopuaranga Table Tennis Club opened the season last week with a Yankee Tournament. Visitors were present from all the surrounding districts. The winners of the Yankee Tournament were Mrs Kenny and N. Myers, the runners-up being Miss Alice McGovern and G. McKenzie.
