COURTS CLOSED FOR SEASON. MR & MRS S. McLACHLAN WIN TOURNEY. (“Times-Age” Special.) A very pleasant afternoon was spent at the Rangitumau Tennis Club’s courts on Saturday last when the .courts, were closed for the season. The players were evenly matched and some exciting games resulted. The tournament was won by Mr and Mrs S. McLachlan, the runners-up being Miss M. Wrigley and Mr Lyall Wilton. In his speech, the president, Mr E. T. Wilton, congratulated the members of the team on their play this season and also in their being runners-up in the C grade competition. Mr Gordon McLachlan, a member of the team, was made a presentation in view of his leaving the district. Mr Wilton said that his services as a member of the club were appreciated greatly and that the club would miss him very mucin
