CHURCH SERVICES

At St. Matthew's Church tomorrow special reference will be made to the world situation. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a.m. At 11 a.m. the Vicar will preach on “The Threat to Democracy,” and at 7 p.m. on “International Apostacy.” The Rev. T. V. Pearson will conduct services at Kuripuni in the evening and at Rangitumau and Kopuaranga in the afternoon. “The rabid Nationalism across the world today compared with the teachings of Jesus Christ,” will, be the subject for thought in the Methodist Church tomorrow night, when the Rev. Frederick J. Parker will be the prea- , cher. At the morning service Mr ker will speak on the question "What Have I to Offer Men?” At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow, Mr C. R. Goudge will be the morning preacher, while at night the service will be taken by the young men of the Mission Band. The Methodist service at Mount Bruce tomorrow at 2 p.m. will be conducted by the Rev. Fred. J. Parker. The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow will be conducted by Captain Sawyer in the morning at 11 o'clock and Major Mahaffie in the evening at 7 o’clock. The Major’s subject will be “The Triumph of the Cross.” All are heartily invited the Salvation Army’s gospel- services".
