No “Tags” Attached to Balance Sheet.
The balance sheet of the Masterton Trust Lands Trust for the past year has been received by the secretary, Mr W. Yates, from the Government Auditor, and certified as correct, there being no “tags” attached. A Wrong Policy. The policy of killing small birds was a wrong one. Councillor George Murray suggested at the monthly meeting of the Mackenie County Council when the buying of sparrows was mentioned. The time had come, he said' when small birds should be encouraged because of the increase of insect pests.
