ROAD CYCLING
SEASON ACTIVITIES. ("Times-Age" Special.) The Wairarapa Amateur Cycling Club will commence its road season activities at Greytown on Saturday. The opening race will be over a distance of 12 miles, the course being from the Greytown Hotel to the Tauherenikau Hotel and return. Mr A. J. Allison has kindly donated a trophy for this race. Intending members are invited to attend. The club’s handicapper, Mr A. O’Donnell has declared the following handicaps: —K. Woollett, R. Copp, scr.; J. Brader, J. McAliece, 45secs.; L. Green, C. Gourlay, G. Goodin, lmin. 45 secs.; B. Dooling. M. Graham, 2min. 15 secs.; O. Morris, G. Swain, 2min. 30 secs.; K. Gilbert, D. Mayes, 3mins. The riders will be conveyed to Greytown by bus which will leave the Queen’s Hotel. Renall Street. ?t 1.30 p.m. sharp.
