BIBLE CLASS CAMP
PRESBYTERIAN BOYS & GIRLS.
GATHERING AT SOLWAY. During the Easter holidays the Wairarapa Presbyterian Boys’ and Girls’ Bible Classes held a most successful six days’ camp at Solway Showgrounds. .There was a large and representative attendance, and Mr G. W. Morice was camp father, and Miss Martha McGregor camp mother. The convenor of the camp was Mr H. H. Truman. Profitable study circles were held each day. The camp opened on Thursday. On Friday ‘a ’ dramatised play was presented and an address given by the Rev. Bloomfield. An enjoyable picnic was held on Saturday, followed by a concert at night. The campers attended Knox Church on Sunday morning, and at a service held at.the camp at night the speaker was the Rev. Ralph Byers, of Carterton. Keen contests were witnessed at the sports held on Monday when the girls’ banner was won by the Knox Junior Class. On Monday night an address was given by the Rev. J. Simpson, of Masterton. The camp broke up on the following day. Hockey,' cricket and other sports were played during the camp.
