OBITUARY

MRS ELIZABETH McLEAN. The death occurred yesterday of Mrs Elizabeth McLean, wife of Mr Charles McLean, of 199 Dixon Street. Masterton. The late Mrs McLean, who had not enjoyed good health for a number of years past, was a cheerful and patient' sufferer.

Born at Marton 52 years ago, she came to Masterton at an early age, with her parents, Mr and Mrs J. D. Munn, and had resided here ever since. She was associated with the Open Brethren and was of a quiet and retiring disposition. Mrs McLean is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs Black (Upper Hutt) ■ and four sons, Messrs C. McLean (Petone), A., D. and M. McLean (all of Masterton), besides one sister and nine brothers. . The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the residence at 2.30 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
