FOOTBALL MATCH CANCELLED. . GROUND TOO HARD. (“Times-Age” Special.) Owing to the ground being too hard the annual match between Eastbourne and Greytown has been cancelled. Personal Items. Mr E. Maddison and Miss Muir Maddison left today for Motueka, where they will spend a month’s holiday. Mr and Mrs W. P. Yardley left today to spend the Easter holidays at Christchurch. Basketball. Due probably to the cooler weather basketball practice has commenced at Greytown. The Greytown Old Girls’ Basketball Club has secured the school court, for the season, and me'mbers have been practicing every evening this week.
