LICENSING CHARGES
OFFENCES AT JERUSALEM.

Fines aggregating £35 and costs £ll 2s were imposed by Mr Salmon, S.M.. on Albert Edward Davey, a farmer, of Jerusalem, for selling liquor to Maoris in a proclaimed area, keeping liquor for sale and supplying, to Natives for consumption off licensed premises. Alexander Gay. a roadman, was fined £25 with costs £4 on similar charges, which included £5 for aiding and abetting Davey.
