FOREIGN LOANS
CHINA’S ACTION. By Telegraph— Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.30 p.m.) CHUNGKING, March 27. It is officially stated that China is partly discontinuing the service of foreign loans totalling £18,250.000 sterling, secured on salt revenues, in the same way as the action taken in January regarding loans secured on the customs revenue. The AngloFrench loan due on April 5 will be fully paid, but the crisp gold loan due on March 30, will not be-paid in full.
