MAGISTRATE’S COURT
FORTNIGHTLY MASTERTON SITTING. CIVIL BUSINESS. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in the following undefended civil claim by Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., in the Masterton Magistrate’s Court yesterday: J. Fraser v C. D. Pennial, claim £5, costs £1 4s 6d. On judgment summonses Gerald Cronin was ordered to pay J. O. Penciling the sum of £6 3s 5d forthwith in default six days’ imprisonment; Charles H. Boswell was ordered to pay F. A. H. Taylor the sum of £8 3s 9d forthwith in default eight days’ imprisonment, warrant to be suspended so long as defendant pays 2s 6d a week; David Mabey was ordered to pay Frank McKellar the! sum of £5 14s 6d forthwith in default six days’ imprisonment.
