SHEEP DOG TRIALS
SUCCESSFUL TINUI CLUB FIXTURE. ■YESTERDAY’S RESULTS. Excellent sport, with work of a high standard, was witnessed at the Tinui Collie Club’s annual sheep dog trials, which were continued yesterday. Good progress was made and it is anticipated ihat the trials will be concluded The results of the events decided were as follow: —
Long head, open:. Mr J. Wilton, Chiel, 48 points, 1; C. J. Hay, Blue, 45 points, 2; F. Herbert, Sky Pilot, 44J points, 3; C. S. Hay, Tweed, 43 points, 4.

Long head, maiden: C. S. Hay, Tweed. 43 points, 1; J. Groves, Tip. 37 points, 2; L. D. Cameron, Dan, 36 points, 3. ■ Short head and yard, open: L. Tinsley, Hemp, 47 J points, 1; M. J: Wilton Chiel, 47 points, 2; C. J. McDonald, Jean, 46 points, 3; M. J. Wilton, Jack Wallace, 451 points, 4. Short head and yard, local: L. Tinsley, Hemp, 471 points, 1; L. D. Cameron.
