RUMANIA FURNISHES NEW PROOF SIGNING OF TRADE TREATY WITH GERMANY. FURTHER DETAILS OF AGREEMENT By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. * (Received This Day, 1.15 p.m.) BUCHAREST, March 23.
A Government communique states that by signing the Rumanian—German Treaty, Rumania has furnished a new proof of her desire to strengthen peace, which increasingly depends on a solution of economic problems, taking into account the needs of great and small nations.
The Foreign Minister, M. Gafencu,states Rumania is prepared to examine the possibility of concluding similar agreements with other countries.
The German Minister informed M. Gafencu that Germany would execute all Rumanian orders already placed in Czechoslovakia.
The agreement provides for the cooperation of Rumanian and German banks. Germany is to supply machinery and equipment for mining, also arms and equipment for Rumanian forces and will co-operate with the Rumanian armament industry.
