Mrs. Beu explained the procedure for women who would be making use of Flock House as a Rest Home. The question of assisting in connection with the New Zealand Centenary was fully discussed and it was decided to fully co-operate with the Borough Council in the erection of a Ladies’ Rest Room in Greytown on the lines outlined by the Mayor at the last meeting. An advertisement appears elsewhere in this issue regarding a dance to be held in Greytown on Saturday night. This dance is to help to raise funds to prepare wickets in Greytown to enable the newly formed Greytown Cricket Club to compete under the Wairarapa Cricket Association next season. A warm welcome is assured to all who care to attend this dance, and as the object is a worthy one, it should have the support of all sports, cricketers in particular.
