OBITUARY
MRS. A. W. HOOD. The death ■ occurred in Masterton this morning of Mrs Harriett Hood, wife of Mr A. W. Hood, of Mauriceville West. The late Mrs Hood was born in the Bombay district, near Auckland, 67 years ago. After her marriage to Mr Hood at Auckland, 30 years ago, she lived at Rahotu for seven years. During that period Mr. Hood conducted a hotel there. Later they came to Morison’s Bush, where they remained for four years. For the past 25 years, Mr and Mrs Hood had resided at Mauriceville West, where Mr Hood purchased a farm. The garden and home claimed all of Mrs Hood’s interests. A husband and grown-up family are left to mourn their loss.
The funeral will take place on Friday, leaving the residence of Mr H. Hood, 11 Macara Street, at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery. ,
