ESPERANTO
MASTERTON CLUB MEETING. At the weekly meeting of the Masterion Esperanto Club held last evening in the club room, Municipal Buildings, Mr A. Dewar, D.8.E.A.. presided over a very good attendance of members.
The president reminded members of the function to be held at Wellington on Saturday evening next by the combined clubs in the Wellington district, for the purpose of making a presentation to Mr. W. H. King, former secretary of thq New Zealand Esperanto Association, who has retired after ten years’ administrative service. A communication from the editors of “La Interna Ideo,” the all-Esperanto monthly journal published at Wellington, was considered, and it was decided that the club subscribe to the publication.
Excellent progress was maue by the elementary and advanced classes which continued the study of the international language under the guidance of Mr. Dewar and Mr. King respectively.
