PONGAROA
PERSONAL ITEMS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Messrs K. Merrie (Pahiatua) and G. T. Smith (Pongaroa) have returned from a short fishing excursion to Lake Taupo. Mr and Mrs R. B. Robertson and Miss Peggy Robertson, of Palmerston North, were recent visitors to the district. Mr Scoones, of Wellington, has arrived to take charge of the Kaituna School.
Mrs P. R. Kent has as her guest, her sister, Mrs. Ewan. Mrs Mayman, senr., is a visitor to Hawke’s Bay.' Mrs H. M. Hansen, Hainui, is a visitor to Wellington, where she is the guest of Mrs B. Clemas.
