BOROUGH ENDOWMENT
PROPOSED BUILDING LOAN.
BOROUGH COUNCIL DECISION.
The Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, reported at last night’s meeting of the Borough Council that he had interviewed the Minister of Finance regarding the borrowing of a sum of £3OO for the purpose of placing buildings on the Borough endowment. The Minister had requested that the council’s requirements be submitted in writing. That had been done, but so far no reply had been received from the Minister. “I think I will write him another letter tomorrow,” observed Mr Jordan.
