FARMER INJURED

THROWN FROM HIS HORSE. ACCIDENT AT TINUI. Mr S. Schofield, a well-known member of the Tinui district, is in the Masterton Hospital in a serious condition as the result of being thrown from his horse.

Mr Schofield was riding the horse down a steep hill when it suddenly took fright, throwing the rider heavily. It took over five hours to get Mr Schofield to the hospital where it was found that he was suffering from a broken pelvis and other internal injuries.
