FAREWELL PARTIES
TENDERED TO MRS McINTOSH. Mrs H. K. Mclntosh,'of Te Whiti, who will leave for England by the Mataroa on March 24, was the guest of honour at several farewell) parties last week. Mrs T. W. Wardell, Mrs O. A. Bunny, Mrs S. R. Gawith were the hostesses at a delightful party at the Ranfurly Club on Wednesday, a large number of guests being invited to play bridge, and others to join the party for afternoon tea.
, Mrs Neal Irwin and Mrs J. Bird also gave a very enjoyable bridge party for Mrs Mclntosh. Mrs Mclntosh was also entertained by Mrs E. G. Norman at a tennis party atid by Mrs P. Borthwick at a cocktail party.
