TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS. : I FINALS DECIDED. ("Times-Age” Special.) Miss G. Fenwick defeated Miss M. Rasmussen, 6/3, 6/0, in the final of the women’s championship of the South Featherston Club. J. Foss was successful in the men’s singles final, defeating R. Yule 6/5, 6/3. RIFLE CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Rifle Club was presided over by Mr A. Gain (captain), there being a fair attendance of members. The balance sheet showed a credit of £l6 which was considered very satisfactory. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr D. H. S, Riddiford; vicepatron, Mi’ W. G. Hodder; president, Mr G. E. Yule; vice-presidents, Misses Card, R. Williams, B. Donald, Messrs J. Card, J. Donald, T. Hardie, W. Gundesen, J. Bain, N. Perry, R. Williams and W. Stark; secretary, Mr J. Bain; treasurer, Mr P. Wilton; club captain, Mr L. G. Rasmussen; coaches, Messrs A. Gain and L. G. Rasmussen; scrutineers, Messrs C. Bain and M. Hodder; delegates to the Wairarapa Miniature Rifle Association, Messrs L. G. Rasmussen and M. Hodder; handicapper, Mr A. Yule; selectors, Messrs C. Bain and L. G. Rasmussen; referee, Mr P. Wilton. It was decided to open shooting on March 28. The subscription is to be the same as last year. Euchre Party and Dance.
