SHOP DAY

WOMEN’S DIVISION EFFORT. The goods and produce displayed at the shop day held in the Occidental Mart yesterday by the Wairarapa Provincial Council of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union found a ready sale, brisk business being recorded in the morning and by the early afternoon practically everything had been sold. The sale was under, the direction of the president, Mrs E. H. Dagg. assisted by many willing helpers. Between £l6 and £l7 was raised for the housekeepers’ fund.
