WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
MEETING AT TINUI. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting of the Tinui Women’s Institute was held recently, Mrs O’Hara presiding over a fair attendance of members. Following afternoon tea, the election of officers resulted as follows? —President, Mrs O’Hara; secretary, Miss D. Groves; committee, Mesdames Johnston, Voss, Speedy, Mac Alister, Misses C. O’Hara, S. Atack, P. French, P. Street, E. Mac Alister. The competitions for the month resulted as follows: Wheat meal scones: Mrs Carman 1 and 2, Mrs Perry 3. Best bloom: Miss Atack 1, Mrs Johnston 2, Mrs Perry 3.
The singing of the National Anthem brought the meeting to a close.
