RIFLE CLUB COMPETITION. ("Times-Age” Special.) An all-day shoot was held at Gum Grove range at the weekend, ten shots each at two ranges of 300, 500 and 600 yards being fired. Feast: 43, 48, 47, 45, 45, 44: 272. N. C. C. Shepherd: 41, 46, 44, 45, 46, —; —. F. S. Hood: 45, —. 48. 45. 47, 47.—: —. N. Nix: 46, 48, 42, 45, —, —; —. R. Donald: —, —, —, —, 45, —; —. M. Benton: 44. Winners of various aggregates for the season are: —L. G. Benton, WakelyNix Cup; W. S. Benton, Williams and Bidwill Cup. For the McTaggart Cup, A. Cook, W. S. Benton and W. Johnson shoot off, and for the Yule Cup, A. Cook and W. Johnson. Next weekend the final shoot will be fired for the McGill Shield and the Matthews Championship Shield. Personal. .Mr Ben Robinson, of the Taihape Postal staff, arrived in Featherston today on his annual leave.
