mr g. mc.namara retiring. APPRECIATION OK VALUABLE /SERVICES. (By Telegfaph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The Postmaster-General (the Hon F. Jones) announces that Mr G. McNamara, Director-General of the P. and T, Department, commences leave on retirement on March 31, at which time he will have completed 42J years’ service. ' Mr Jones, in expressing the regret of the Government and the country in losing Mr McNamara’s valuable services, expresses appreciation of his action in having continued at the Government’s request as Director-General after giving notice of his intention to, retire after completing forty years' of service.
