SLOW BIDDING
MASTERTON STOCK SALE. Before a large attendance of buyers a fair yarding of ewes was offered at the Masterton stock sale this morning. Prices were not up to vendors’ expectations and bidding was slow, but improved as the sale progressed. The following are prices realised:—Account Glenburn, 366 4-tooth ewes at 245; ac. A. McGregor, 258 5-yeaV ewes at 12s lOd; ac. J. A. Card, 234 4 and 5-year ewes at 14s 6d; ac. E. W. Bunny, 220 5year ewes at 13s 6d; ac. D. H. Speedy, 306 6-year ewes at 9s 9d.
