A National Service .has been formed, representative of all State Departments and national organisations. Its duty will be to advise the Lord Privy Seal and Minister of Labour on national service matters. The chairman is the Earl of Onslow and the members include Lord Somers and representatives of employers, chambers of commerce, trades unions, the St. John Ambulance, Red Cross and British' Legion.
