* ■■ — WOMEN’S INSTITUTE MEETING. . ("Times-Age” Special.) The members of the Mt Bruce Women’s Institute gathered at the home of Mrs R. C. Campbell recently, where a very pleasant afternoon was spent. Arrangements were made to hold a flower show in the Mt Bruce Hall on March 23. Miss. Kemball, of Rangitumau, gave a demonstration on tapestry work, her stool and chair being much admired; also Miss Reader’s chair and Mrs Campbell’s stool. The hostesses for the day, Mrs and Miss Campbell, served afternoon tea and conducted a novel competition in the garden. The competition results were: Blooms, Mrs Daken (sea holly), 1; Miss I. Reader (aster) 2.' A vote of thanks to Mrs Campbell, proposed by Mrs West, was carried with acclama-. t i on. .
