RANGITUMAU
MEETING OF WOMEN'S DIVISION. (“Times-Age” Special.) The usual meeting of the Rangituman branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was held in the hall, the president, Mrs D. James, presiding over a good attendance. The competition results were as follows: — Presentation box of flowers: —Mrs James 1. Mrs Wrigley 2. Collection of jellies: Mrs K. Wilton 1, Miss Jean McLachlan 2. Article made from 1 yard of cretonne: Mrs C. Macdonald 1, Mrs Chorley 2. Collection of vegetables: Mrs Chorley 1. Mrs Duckett 2. Miss I. James, who kindly acted as judge, was presented with the first prize box of flowers. Mrs C. Macdonald and Miss Jean McLachlan were hostesses and served afternoon tea.
