AUTUMN FLOWER SHOW

LORD NUFFIELD TO PRESENT TROPHIES. OPENING BY MRS KNOX GILMER. The Masterton Horticultural Society’s Autumn Show to be held next Wednesday will undoubtedly be an outstanding attraction, for the society has been fortunate enough to obtain Lord Nuffield’s acceptance of an invitation to be present and to present the trophies won in the recent garden competitions. In addition, Mrs Knox Gilber, of Wellington, who is well known to all garden- lovers throughout the Dominion will officially open the Show at 2.45 p.m. There is every prospect that entries will exceed those of all previous years and visitors to the Show can be assured of an entertaining afternoon. The Show will also be open in the evening. Exhibitors are reminded that entries will close with Messrs H. L. Esau. Denis. Fairbrother or the secretary, Mr E. K. Eastwood, 5 Perry Street, Masterton, at noon on Tuesday, March 7. Schedules or information may be obtained from any of these' officials.
