BUILDING SOCIETY
WORKMEN’S FRIEND No. 2. MEETING OF DIRECTORS. The monthly meeting of the directors of the Workmen’s Friend No. 2 Building Society was held last night, Mr W. Kemp, vice-chairman, presiding in the absence of the chairman, Mr F. J. Hunn, who was granted leave of absence. Others present were Messrs T. Braggins, W. H. Jackson, A. V. Dixon, E. J. Brown, E. H. Morton, C. W. Walker and A. E. Hubbard. The finance report was submitted and correspondence was dealt with. A draft annual report and balance sheet was approved, subject to the usual audit. It was decided to held a ballot for the appropriation of £4OO at the annual meeting on March 29.
