ROTARY CONFERENCE
BIG GATHERING AT NAPIER. (By lel egraph—Press. Association.) NAPIER, This Day. Two hundred and fifty delegates and their wives were present at the opening of the 17th annual New Zealand Rotary Conference this morning. Addresses by the District Governor, Mr G. W. Hutchinson and the official representative of Rotary Mr Angus Mitchell, of Melbourne, were the chief features of today’s programme. I The nomination of the new District Governor, Mr D. A. Ewen, of Wellington. takes place on Friday afternoon. Messages were received from Lord Galway, the Rt Hon M. J. Savage, and Mr George Hager, of Chicago, presi-. dent of Rotary International.
