(Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) WARSAW, February 26.. After his arrival on a goodwill mission, Count Ciano (Italian Foreign Minister) lunched with the President, M. Moscicki. Colonel Beck’s statement at a banquet: “We . are going to try to enlarge the friendly collaboration of our two Governments without losing sight of the just interests of others,” is regarded as .an assurance that Poland will not support a policy harmful to France. GERMAN COMPLAINT STUDENTS BEATEN WITH STICKS. (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) BERLIN, February 26. The German News Agency alleges that twelve German students were beaten with sticks in Cracow. Polish students also scattered the entire furniture of a German high school students' hostel.
