KEEN CONTESTS AT SOLWAY SHOWGROUNDS. SUCCESSFUL WAIRARAPA MEETING. ' The Wairarapa Coursing Club held a most successful tin hare race meeting at Solway Showgrounds on Saturday afternoon. There was a large attendance of the public, who were treated to a first-class afternoon’s sport. The gathering was well organised and controlled, and the results were as follow: A. and P. Maiden Stakes (Bradbury Trophy).—First heat: Great Worry, 1; Gay Boy, 2; Big Ben, 3. Second heat: Helen Rufus, 1; Aristocrat, 2; Wings of the Morning, 3.
